Lyman Great Plains Rifle, .54 cal, flint (LEFTHAND). This was a new factory rifle I refinished. The barrel was draw filed and browned, leaving the barrel stamps intact but very faint. All iron furniture was browned except for the lock & sideplate which I left factory blued. The stock was oil finished with a light maple stain. The grain on this stock is very wavy and unusual as seen in the photos. It was shot very little and well cared for. No rust or pitting anywhere. Asking $425 shipped. Feel free to PM with any questions or additional hi-res photos.

Oh Thank God it's gone. I don't presently shoot anything in 54. Don't WANT to shoot anything in 54. Don't hunt more than once or twice a year...(if that), and have 4-50 cal rifles already that meet all those needs but DAMN...that's a nice rifle at an incredible price. I hope ClarksvilleJoe gets a lot of good use out of it on those Big Ohio Whitetails. :thumb:
