hi guys bought my first smoothbore 56 renegade took it out an shot it today had more fun shooting it than i do the 50 or 54 gonna take it to the river bottom an try to get a hog with it shooting 65grns 520prb good groups at 30yds reckon thats enough for a clean kill

They are a lot of fun! Somehow I wound up with 3 of them. I keep thinking about cutting one down, similar to a canoe gun, but can't bring myself to do it. Good luck on the hog!

Ahhh, but the important thing is you got it! After all, what Will Rogers said about real estate may be applicable.

REALLY LIKE THIS SMOOTHBORE NO HOG THIS TIME BUT I AM GOING TO CARRY IT WITH ME ON THE RANCH THINK I AM HOOKED

That was my first muzzleloader, and I'd say it's a keeper. Very accurate”“won a prize at my first shoot yesterday in the rifle class (rear sight's on the gun) shooting my Renegade.
