I have a 58 cal. English Sporting Rifle built by John Donelson for sale. This gun was custom built as a Elk Hunting Rifle with a 58 cal Getz 32" Swamped slow twist Barrel. This gun was #47 built by John. The gun has a L&R Late English Lock and double set triggers. The gun was built with a thicker wrist and long tang to strengthen the wrist area for heavier loads. The gun shoots tight groups with 130 grains of FF Goex and a patched .570 round ball over a .58 cushion wad. I have included many accessories for the gun seen in the pictures including 1 full and 3/4 full box of round balls and all the cleaning jags and accessories you need to shoot this flint lock rifle. The gun also comes with 2 ram rods, the original wooden one and a custom brass rod from October Country. LOP to the front trigger is 14". Weight with the brass ram rod is 8lbs 12oz, with out ram rod 7lbs 13oz. I would like $3000 for the gun and all the accessories shipped.
