Note the half moon solder fill at the muzzle end of the rib. Just like the old original rifles by Hawken.

Hey Joe,
Which lock are you using on your Flinter? I am in the process of planning a fullstock flintlock Hawken for a bud. Have you seen the late English water proof pan lock from Mike Rowe? It's the one that Caywood is putting on their Tennessee rifle.
