I was thinking a light load in one of the barrels for 10 yard. Rabbit

I'm at 45grn and 3/4 oz #5
They say don't pattern a .410. I was just going to try it out hunting and see when If get a good close shot on one.

just wondering if anyone's loaded down that much and how's it do? I assume it's just like a modem .410 or better.
Don’t understand what you mean by not patterning a .410.

I wondered why. I put a piece of printer paper in my hunting bag.

I have to fire off the cyl barrel and reload it light. I'm waiting on a rabbit.

The gun range isn't far you and your not suppose to target shoot public land so I'm just going to stop at the range between and test it.

They say 410s don't pattern well past 25 yards and a lot of them are fixed full choke. Just small shot qauntity makes pattern sparse further ranges. I've seen people prove that wrong. I bet that sucker shoots that low charge shot well.. from reading , patterns open more with slower velocity... but patterns tighten up with shorter shot columns. You might stumble into something only the 10 gauge is good at!
