.62 smoothbore for turkey?

Pretty bird there.

I've taken a half dozen with a .62cal smoothbore...latest 20ga bird in photo.
(took 2014's spring tom with a 28ga for something different)

Of course! The smokeless folks are touting the rubbish you have shoot a howitzer. I range tested my 54 smoothie with 6 shot, 80 GRS of fffg the right wad combination, and did just fine. Work towards a dense pattern and a solid point of aim, and call 'em close! Good luck. :thumbsup:
