.665 RB ??

Amongst all the old reloading items left to me are these large , .665 RB's. Best as I can measure. What cal rifle uses these ??

I am only familiar with modern 50 & 54 cal rifles. I guess at some time in the future I can melt them down for my use...

Really. i haven't got a clue. There are so many items that are foreign to me. Digging thru , little bu little.

Am i seeing things or does the pic of your dial caliper dial read .645?

Good size for paper cartridge in .69

16 bore most likely.
My 17 bore Manton takes a .650” ball (400gr) as the bore is .665”

I shoot .660s in a 16 bore with success.
Your .665s may work too.
