Looking for a serviceable shootable flintlock Springfield military musket barrel in 69 caliber smooth bore. Full length barrel, no cut downs please.

Edit; I’m looking for a 1795-1822ish barrel, flintlock or a screw-in drum bolster conversion barrel.

I have the barrel, lock, nosecap, and trigger/guard assembly for an 1816 US musket, which has been converted to percussion using the 1839 Belgian style conversion.
The barrel has moderate pitting but is probably shootable; exterior good with visible proof stamp near breech. The lock is marked SPRING FIELD 1836 with the eagle ahead of the hammer. Hammer screw is incorrect. Functional and in good shape but half-cock notch is worn.

I'd prefer to sell all 4 parts together. They are currently assembled on a home-made approximation of a stock which has no value. If sold by Lodgewood the parts would be valued at over $900. I am open to offers including trades. Pictures attached.
Oops, working from old phone pics. If interested I will repost with current name card attached. Moonshine Joe 2/9/2025.

Hey Moonshine, I’m sure the Belgium convention could be converted back to flintlock. However I don’t have the means to do that. At least the drum conversation is easy enough to make into a flintlock barrel for me. Thanks for the offer though.

I’m still looking for a flintlock barrel or a drum conversation barrel.

Acacdragoon, at a gun show this weekend, I picked up another 1816 barrel. (Anlong with a good buttstock & plate which I will use).

Anyhow it is a full length barrel that has has the percussion nipple removed and a threaded hole remains for a plug to be inserted. The breechplug has been removed and is partly screwed back in, so bore is accessible.
I have not had time to clean & check it yet but will this week.

Let me know if you'd still be interested .

Yes, still looking for an original barrel. I’ll send you a PM.
