On Kiblers Rods, I add a 10-32 on the other end (not the tapered type). That way I have an 8-32 and 10-32 on the same rod. I use the 10-32 end to push the ball down.

Aaah I have done that as well on some of my guns😁

I usually just retap to 10-32. A little lube and no drilling is required. The steel range rod i left as 8-32 , wasn’t sure if there was enough material to be strong. This one was purchased for use on a 36 caliber.

8-32,

I must be the odd man out, I always shoot from the pouch and load with the wooden rod. I also ram with the steel tip on the ball.

I am quite positive 8-32 (but I don’t have it in front of me). I had to buy an adapter for my cleaning kit as the threads for them were 10-32. I had emailed Lorie about this when I ordered my guns and I can’t seem to find them
Find someone with a tap & die set and check to make sure...or just get an 8-32 screw & a 10-32 screw & see which one fits.

Don't feel alone...I a bit lazier. I preload using a loading block then load from the block until I run out of loaded balls...but use a wooden rod...490 ball with mattress ticking...never had to ram that hard.
