Here are some photos. Seems like the screw hole is off and i haven't taken any wood off yet. Using candle black to see what is hitting. But as you see the back of the tang is seated and the screw hole is misaligned already. Thoughts?

Watched the video for the umpteenth time. It fits together. And screw lines up to thread into the trigger plate. Guess im a little bit nervous about taking to much wood off. Thanks for the replies. I'll probably call tomorrow. Just to be safe. I am in Arizona and the humidity is only 24%.
 
I didnt visually see with mine the alignment was off, but it was very tight when assembled. Wood is wood...I simply opened it up a smidge. I would put the trigger plate in and make sure it aligns and tightens at that point.
