I bought a slick lube tool from Ebay a few weeks ago. It is a small hand-held aluminum cylinder that you fill with lube. On one end there is a port and a piston on the other is a screw driven piston that pushed lube through the cylinder. You insert the minnie into the port and press it down even with the side of the cylinder and give the end screw a turn or two. Then you push the piston up and out pops your maxi or minie fully lubed in the grooves with no mess or fuss. The tool cost me about $20 shipped. The guy has a few more and a search of ebay should turn them up. Once these are gone there will be no more. This is NOS from the 70s. he's retired from Ruger and will not be making any more.

Not familiar with the one you mentioned and am not trying to hijack your thread away from it, just adding to your suggestion in case those become unavailable.

Another good one is TC's pre-luber...screws onto the top of a tube of Natural Lube 1000, comes in .45/.50/.54cals.

That tool sounds just like what I've been looking for. I tried e-bay but couldn't find a listing for it, do you remember what the seller called it?

I have one of the TC tools too and this one is so far superior as to not even be in the same league. Youc an load it with what ever your favorite goo happens to be.

sounds like this one from over 20 years ago except better made no plastic.
