Plain (no carving) extra fancy, sale priced because of a small 'birthmark' just above the guard on the left side is what caused me to lose control.
Now, I'm gathering tools and clearing a space on a workbench in the garage. I have an old wood workers vice. The garage is not climate controlled, but is part of the house and while it gets cold or hot in there I don't think humidity should be a problem for this gun since it is to be used and enjoyed in the great outdoors anyway...
Yes, this is my first Flint Lock, I'm 71 and have always liked building things so this should be lots of fun.
There is a group of muzzleloaders that get together once a month at a local Sportsmans Club, that I intend to join.
