I just about an hour ago agreed to a purchase on the cast bullets forum. Within twenty minute I got a pm from a scammer, whose handle is very close to the handle of the legitimate seller. The list of instructions for payment, photo proof of payment, sent to two different pay pal addresses. I’m telling you all to be hyper vigilant these days. These pukes have all the time in the world to do this crap because they don’t have a job and are happily living off our tax dollar funded welfare.

I do not post an ‘I’ll take it’ here or anywhere else after similar dirtballs attempted like things on other forums. I send a PM/DM with an offer, and though I usually go through with the purchase even after the seller posts that I am buying, I will no longer deal with that kind of big thinking seller. No point saying anything to them, as you can’t fix that type of behavior.

Worked with someone who posted about every trip and vacation they took with virtually up to the minute updates. They could not figure out why they had break ins on three separate occasions while they were out of town.

Pick me! Pick me! Please!

Exactly...I don't let my wife post any photos from vacation until we have returned home. I had to explain to her, the only difference is instead of posting "we are at beach" she will have to post "here we WERE at the beach". No one needs to know exactly when you are doing something. It doesn't affect their life....unless it does.

A lot of the scammers are not even in his country. Such is life in the internet age. I don't have any "social media" accounts like Facebook or the multitude of other sites. Alas most of what I buy is face to face or on sites I trust, never from unknowns.

I am proudly one of the 10% of Americans who never been on facebook.
