There are a lot of us who talk about traditional muzzleloading and do the events associated with traditional muzzleloading.
I think we all have our own particular cut off date we precieve as being the correct time period for our own taste. Some of us like 1800, others 1840, some 1865, yet there's 1933, and still more who say before the modern inline. These are all fine if we're talking traditional style muzzleloaders.
Ghost probably said it best. "I can't describe it, but I know what it is when I see it." Something to that effect.
Anyway, if we all just get out and do more traditional related things with our traditional muzzleloaders, maybe we can make a difference.
Ghost educated me on Historical Treking. I thank him for that and I will try to do a better job of understanding and supporting it for the sake of traditionalism.
All of us with an interest in this common thread should do the same in regards to supporting traditional muzzleloading and it's related hobbies. We should at least give it a good try.
We might just make a difference.
