+1 on that. However, in fairness to the sales guy, I've used almost everything in the box - I had a regretable tendency towards dry balling for a while - and I was happy to be buying all its cool stuff!

Just prime from your horn and forget the primer... :grin:

I couldn't agree more. I have several priming horns, primers etc...but usually i just dump a litttle 3ff in t he pan righ from the horn

I have one that drops 3 grains of FFFFg at a time. It works well for my .54 caliber GPR and I will continue to use it, at least until I run out of 4Fg, then I will try priming with what is in the horn, to see how that works. Keep yer powder dry........robin :hmm:

I like the big priming plunger type from track when just out shooting but when hunting I really love the brass type by Ken Netting. I have one in each of my bags that I hunt with.

How big is the one that Ken makes?
I don't use them, rather I prime from the horn, however if I bought one from him I'd have an excuse to go down and see what he's been up to,on the other hand....a visit to Ken Nettings would prolly lighten my wallet quite a bit , due to fact I'd buy a bunch of other stuff along with the flask I didn't need... :wink:

They are very compact. The largest one of mine is 3 inches long an half inch wide. They never clog up like my plunger models have an they dont have to be oiled like my plunger models have to be :thumbsup:
