After deer season letdown, what do you hunt?

I've never seen a feral cat where I hunt, but I have seen dogs running loose. One scent trailed me almost to my stand, and if it had taken one more step it would have been its last. Telepathy? I dunno, but it backed out the way it followed me in.

Coyotes seem to make themselves scarce when I have a rifle in hand.

Those darn cats are every where...
They can be pretty cagey too....
inside cats =pets
field cats = targets...Big difference.
Would like to see a bounty...
Just don't do that in Illinois, where shooting any cat or dog, even if it belongs to you, will get you convicted of a felony.

No more owning any firearm after that. It's just not worth it.

I believe you....
Here in Wisconsin feral cats are legal targets.
I see more bow hunting than any other season.
I don't intentionally hunt them...even though they do taste like chicken!

Great target! Kinda interesting to be miles from the nearest house, pop a dog chasing deer, and find that it's wearing a collar and tags. No tears shed.
