I will try to remember that! I think that I will wear my ball cap. It has a DATSUN emblem on the front and my name embroidered on the back. That way if I am wandering around clueless and someone from the forum sees Sidney Raper on the back of a hat, they will know it's me! (they will probably run and hide then though. LOL!!)

Well, like a dumb a$$, I forgot my hat. I left the rifle in the truck too as I did not want to look like a poser walking around schlepping that shootin iron in flatlander clothes. I did get to meet Tipis! She was quite gregarious and allowed me the use of one of her camp chairs to ease my bones for a while. Didn't meet anyone else, but picked up some trinkets for the ladies in my life. I came up dry on stuff for me though - would you believe that I could not find a capper in the place!?! Oh well. The Battle of Olustee reenactment is coming up - surely one of those sutlers will set me up...

Enjoyed meeting Pork Chop and Bill Blast. Bill gifted me with some WONDERFULL :shocked2: deer meet that I enjoyed cooking the next night. You guys should have been there....we would have fed all who came. It was really great meeting these two fine :blah: gentlemen. My week and a half was made more fun by Bill coming to my camp for talks a few times.

Also enjoyed Bill doing his first Brain Tanning. Hope you finally got a hide out of all that work. :hmm: :hmm:
