Hello all. My name is Steve and I live near Anchor Point AK which is on the Kenai Peninsula. I am a newbie to the smoke pole world. I was gifted an early date CVA mountian rifle (USA stamp and 4 screw patch box). The previous owner had never shot it and didn't know if it ever was. So, with no knowledge I will be reading and/or asking a lot of questions.

Greetings, fellow Alaskan! I'm relatively new at this myself. I picked up a Lyman Great Plains Rifle about a year and a half ago. This is a great forum!
