Looking forward to this one.....plan on going this weekend to see it here in San Antonio!

Never heard of it and when I went to "buy tickets" to see where it might be playing it shut my connection down. They had their chance, although, I DO so love watching savages get their kumuppins...

Good movie! If you get a chance to see don't delay.....historical story along with strong Christian values.....good movie that won't last long in theaters these days!
:hmm:

Babysitters fell through on opening day so we had to delay going to see it until later today. I haven't heard much negative about it.

Gotta wonder about a movie if only one theater in this state of 12 million folks (Pennsylvania) is showing it. That one is down in the Filthadelphia area 130 miles away. None in a big population area like Pittsburgh?

Might be a great movie. I like a good period movie. Not enough to drive over 30 minutes to see it though.

will check the box office receipts as a rating.

I think the limited theaters playing this movie are doing so to let people see a good movie. As a wide release commercial movie, this one will make the Lone Ranger look like the blockbuster it was supposed to be.

Love of family, strong Christian values, historical setting.....not a good combination for a commercial movie...sad, these things do not appeal to movie goers.... :idunno:

I think the producers have really had to work to get it in as many theaters as they could.

If it comes anywhere near me....I will go to see it. I have been looking forward to the release since the trailer was posted here over a year ago.

Um, so far the ONLY blackpowder movie in a theater this century, right?...no wait, Master and Commander was in 2003 :haha:

I plan to see it this weekend in Leesburg, Va. It's an indy film, so no huge backing from major studio.

Looks good to me. Since buying my Pedersoli Kentucky I've really been getting into watching films about this period. My wife has started calling these movies/shows "flintlock porn", since I watch them mostly for the guns. She said "most guys watch movies for the action or some actor or cute actress", but she thinks it's funny that I watch a movie for the firearms used in it.

I'm the same about westerns, gangster movies, and war movies.

Their site keeps shutting me down. 'sides, not playing near here. I'll wait...
