As a Turkey hunter, I like it just because it would match my apparel while in the woods. I’m not sure a Turkey really cares what color your shotgun is.
It’s a side lock traditional style ml even with the painting. Not traditional, but practical and interesting in my eyes. What do you think? Thanks
It would be determined racist by some groups. As a Turkey hunter, I like it just because it would match my apparel while in the woods. I’m not sure a Turkey really cares what color your shotgun is.
Don't you know? They had gender problems back then, too. They just said, "I identify as a turkey", and the gobbler's believed them!Just wondering, how did 18th and 19th century hunters manage to kill turkeys or other critters without camo painted guns or real tree camo suits?
I spent half a night in the woods looking for a bow for that same reason couple decades ago. Blended right in. I suppose one could easily lose a shotgun the same way.I’d say don’t set it down in the foliage and turn away from it…you never find it again..
You should hear about this thing called camo clothing. People are making millions convincing folks they need it to get game.Lol, so how come thousands of us still get a bird without that nonsense? Pure luck .
I just think it's eye candy for failed hunters that think they can buy success.
Growing up we used to have wild turkeys come into the cow barn all the time my folks would never let me just shut the door and call them "domesticated", they called it poaching. so I don't know that they care that much about what's natural or just a threat. No, they will not recognize it as a gun. They will spot it as not natural and not belonging.
I was working at a Sportsman's Warehouse in Coon Rapids Minnesota back when Stu Utgaard still owned the chain. A customer admitted to me that for almost an hour he had "lost" his full-camo upland bird gun after leaning it against a tree to answer nature's call.I spent half a night in the woods looking for a bow for that same reason couple decades ago. Blended right in. I suppose one could easily lose a shotgun the same way.
