I must brag on Tony again.
I have a .32 cal percussion rifle that was damaged during shipping. The hammer was bent over a ways and had a small stress crack.
I carefully heated and straightened the hammer to where it needed to be positioned. I then sent it to Tony at Micro Precision Welding for further inspection and repair.
I let him know I wasn’t sure of the definite ends of the crack, as it was so small. No problem!
Under the scope he confirmed the ends of the crack, grooved with a dental drill, and with a laser, laid the tiniest dimes I’ve ever seen.
I had asked him to save as much of the original finish, and be as subtle as possible, and I believe he did a fine job. 3 cheers Tony!
