Thanks fellas . Just a damn ole trade gun but I love em ! Its a cherry stock and stained with light brown leather dye , go figure . You all got good eyes . On FB they were seriously asking about my flint , where I found such a large one , LOL ....

She's made from a plank of wood , not a kit , and hand made parts . I didn't make the side plate , screws or lock . I had a hand in making the barrel , made it from an old blank . I ground and filed the flats , breeched it , lugs and sight made and attached them , authentic proof stamp , London stamp and filed the rings on

Glad you posted some finished guns, as it keeps me fresh with anticipation on what I got coming. In the mean time, I am getting closer to taking the Netting type G out to cement some good round ball loads. Maybe have a chance to work on some shot loads as well, depending on the weather windows. Good stuff Rob!

Ah ! Sounds awesome ! So wild , coincidental ....your gonna have a Ken Netting and one of my trade guns too . I just saw Ken couple days ago at an indoor show .... He got me started in all this great stuff

Looks great! I like short guns. What stain did you use to get that red color? Might as well chime in on the finishes thread that's going on too. I'm a little skeptical about that flint that you supplied with it though.
I am sure that flint is the latest charcoal model, it justs need some trigger time to get hot
