Here are some pictures of a Lehigh I just finished over the weekend.
The stock architecture is loosely based off of an original Johannes Moll.
The stock is Pear. The barrel is 38" taper and flared 52 cal by Bobby Hoyt.

Wow Chris! That is just beautiful! Where did you find a pear wood blank nice enough to build that rifle from?

Very very nice :bow: And how are your nerves after all that incised carving? Any slips hidden in there? :hmm: Love the figure after the trigger guard. Inletting looks super tight.

Man that's fine! :thumbsup: Pear, that must have come frome someone's private stock. :grin: pun intinded Turned out really sweeeeeeeet though. Pear huh! :hmm:

This piece of Pear came from Fred Miller. He had it hidden in one of his barns under some other boards covered in bird crap. :shocked2:

:shocked2: Wow!..........That's beautiful! I just wish that when the Creator was distributing talent that he had spread it around a bit more evenly..............you sir got a double helping :bow: :bow:
