likely around the 1851 date that is stamped into the wooden stock.
In it's original form it was likely in Napoleon's army.

Oh. I’m not aware of that. I heard that a gun sale has to go through a FFL approved dealer. I’m not educated about this. But ok thanks for that advice.Maybe try the marketplace here on this forum ?
