Toilet seals haven't been made of beeswax for years. The modern ones, a least any I have found, are petroleum based.

Places that sell candle supplies, leather stores and traditional chandleries/sail lofts are places to check.

I get mine from www.beeswaxfrombeekeepers.com

If you want a small amount of beeswax, buy a 100% beeswax candle from a candle or craft store. Beeswax at craft stores or health food markets is like $9.00 a pound or higher.

If you can get to the Fort Frederick market fair in April, you can find it closer to $6 a pound. You can get prices close to that if you buy a large amount from eBay, but you'd probably need to be making candles too.

Where is a good place to buy Beeswax with out mail ordering?

The best place to obtain beeswax is from a local beekeeper. Contact your county extension agent and ask for names of local beekeepers. Most will sell wax very cheaply, some will even give it away. It may be dirty but is easy enough to clean. It can help if you offer to buy some of their honey.
