Anybody try hand sanitizer for to clean fouling between shots??

Won't hurt the bore if it's subsequently cleaned, and might even be useful for cleaning black powder residue between shots at the range, as it's water soluble. Interesting question. Try it out and give us a report on your results.
 
If you’re going try this, just seat your patched ball with the hand sanitizer. I would not run the gel slime all the way to the empty breech. However,if seating the patched ball on your powder charge, the next shot clears it out. You’ll be surprised at the fouling you’ll pull out atop your load.
 
Actually works fairly well. I forgot my cleaner at a shoot and found the bottle in my pickup. My wife hasn't looked for it yet. I assumed it was hers. Anyhow, it cleaned quite well and got me through the day. I used it to clean, not as a patch lube.
