anyone use 777 in a .36 cal revolver?

the few '51 .44s I've seen includeing a nephew's have been brass frame. these are replica repros of course. I'm unsure about the .36s.
 
I found 15 grains 777 was an accurate load in my Paterson. I never bothered to chrono it.
 
I use Triple Seven 2f in my pistols (15gr in the Navy), and it seems to perform a little better than the 3f. Maybe its a pressure issue, but there is certainly less binding.

And no, Triple Seven does not like being compressed- velocity starts getting erratic. I usually put some cream of wheat out of a powder flask over the powder to fill the chamber just enough to allow the ball to be fully seated with a light, but snug, fit. It sounds like more work than it is. The pistols sure seem to like it.
 
I'd need to check my flask nozzles (I write the charge volume on them in marker, but don't have any in front of me right now), but I think maybe 15gr is what I use in the brass frame Navy. 20 sounds right for the steel one. I know it'll shoot the heavier loads, but accuracy and binding seem to become more of an issue as the charge is increased.
