definite difference in brass
I was never aware of the great differences in brass or types until I purchased an Ox Yoke brass ramrod. I tried to thread the end for a handle and my dies simply wouldn't cut it. I finally took it to a gunsmith who threaded it on his machine lathe but only with great difficulty. It was hard-hard-hard. I later did some searching and learned that simply saying "brass" means little, there are many kinds.

yes the strength of brass depends on amount of zinc and copper beta brass being the strongest

it did not take any effort at all to shoot this thing loose. I did not keep an accurate count of how many shot. I suspect somewhere between 1 and 2k rnds? brand new 2021 pietta w/ 12 " bbl. I only shot one cylinder of 30g with RB and decided that was too hot. The rest were 25g T7. It seems like it happened suddenly. Everything was fine and then one day I noticed I had a bunch of cylinder shake.

this experience combined with me shooting two open top brass colt .36 cal loose in the 70's has cured me from ever buying another brasser.

Is that 25gr of T7 ffg or fffg?

would not make any difference but yes its FFF it is a not a monster load. pleanty of folks regularly stuff 38g of this stuff into a steel frame with no problems. I am useing that same powder spout now with 200g conicals in my steel frame and it does not feel excessive in any way shape or form.
