I am looking for an 1858 remington cylinder for an armi san marco reporoduction can any one point me in the right dirrection?

You should go to Dixie Gunworks.

You didn't mention the caliber but assuming it is a .44 their part is shown in this link http://www.dixiegunworks.com/product_info.php?cPath=22_434_443_444&products_id=4252

They list a different cylinder for the Euro Arms gun and the .36 caliber Remingtons.

If your in doubt you can always call them and tell them exactly what your gun is.

Several suggestions:

1. Ask EMF firearms if they can offer any help http://www.emf-company.com/ . EMF used to sell a lot of ASM revolvers. I bought quite a few ASM cap and ball revolvers from them over a few years when they sold at the Big Reno Gun Show.

2. Try Taylors http://www.taylorsfirearms.com . I think Taylors also used to sell ASM's.

3. Longshot. . . try gun shows for a used cylinder. Be sure to take your ASM Remington and a dowel to check cylinder alignment. You might find another brand that works.

armi san marco was acquired by american western arms, inc., in 2000 and they discontinued all powder cap and ball and cartridge conversion models.

EMF was their major importer.
