Armsport lock

A guy brought an Armsport hawkin type rifle in the shop. When fired, the hammer stops at halfcock. Bubba and Earl have been in the lock and may not have put all the pieces back in. Is anyone familiar with this type of lock? Does it look like something is missing. Thanks.
