Mrs loves asparagus wrapped in bacon and drizzled with an oriental style teriyaki syrup. Then baked for 25 mins at 375.
And for some reason bacon always tastes better when cooked over a camp fire. We use the grease to fry chunks of biscuit dough and then roll the fried biscuits in sugar to make doughnuts.
OK! OK! ... Here are some of your wrapped pepper, cheese, smokies wrapped in some of my bacon. By the way, they call them Buffalo Turds in this part of the country.
That big bacon wrapped thing is a Fatty. You flatten out a pound of good pork sausage, then put peppers, cheese, onion, garlic or what ever you want and roll up like a jelly roll and lace it with good bacon. Slice for sandwiches when done smoking. All Gooooooooooooooood! :blah:
Now you've gone and done it :shake: That looks deeeeeelisihus :haha: I'm sitting at the house babysitting my better half who's recovering from rotator cuff surgery (yesterday) So what a better time to fire up the ol smoker. I'll be of to the supermarket shortly (as soon as relief shows up) for a brisket or sausage for a fatty or...... Anyway I'll be bring back some BACON for sure. :thumbsup:
