Some people bait deer in with corn, with apples, with doe scent...

Ha! :haha: Three days ago they decided that what they really like is the tulip tree in our front yard.
Yesterday I put up a remesh barricade around it like I use for grape vines and stuff. This morning the mesh was bent up half way to the drive way. Rebuilt it today with plastic flags. Might have to add a transformer. Might have to add a flintlock. :hatsoff:
 
a good friend of mine had deer troubles a few years ago. they were eating the bark on his new pair trees. he shaved Irish Spring soap bar around the base of the trees and it all stopped.

Yup, they don't like to be around places they can't smell predictors. Any overwhelming scent cause them critters alarm.
If you've ever bow hunted whitetail you'll know the nose knows.
