Another Winter project finished! Finally finished up my 1805 TRS Baker rifle. I started this almost two years ago, but most of the time was waiting for the lock castings and a couple of minor parts to arrive from two different parts suppliers. One set of castings never has arrived. The patchbox and lower pipe are original parts that I had. I cleaned them to the same degree as the other parts but left some of the bumps in them, sort of as a homage to the original Baker they came from. Being a .62 caliber I can see this as my future hunting gun.
