I got a boatload of black walnut if you want to pay for shipping,we use it for firewood in these parts! And before you gunbuilders start drooling, its just firewood!! :rotf:

skunkskinner,
Looks like DonB would be a good
canidate for your free ball board.Hope he e-mails you.
snake-eyes :hmm:

I sent it to Frank/Pa. But if any one else wants one all they need to do is ask,I enjoy making them.
I am running out of projects to do for myself.

Verrrrrrry nice skunkskinner. Mine is made of American Chestnut from a board sawn by my Gradad around 1920 and is now about 35 yrs old. Many balls have been through it. And, your generosity is exceptional for this day and age.Best of luck. Dave in Montana :hatsoff:

PT me your address and I will find out how much it will cost for shipping, then we will know the answer to your question Kirrmeister.

Would you ship to Germany, too?
:hmm: skunkskinner, ya can't do that! it'll be the wrong size! they got the metric system! even the wood won't be right!1x4 no no! it's gotta be in mm's or cm's, or m's... maybe m&m's.... never did figure that system out...seen a thermos and 2 cups last week fer sale,,, was a 1 litre thermos, but the cups was 16 ounces???????????? RC :winking:

You are wrong RC! GE muzzleloaders don't think metric anymore. We changed to inchs, grains, etc.For ML it is easier. So make a kind of help for development and let it skunkskinner send to GE. :blah:

well pardon me! was hopin someday ya'all would measure up the right way!(see that black smoke amake ya see things more clearer) well skunkskinner, guess it'd be okay to send the boys some ball boards.! course next they'll want the hammer... :winking: gees i'm still tryin to figure out how i got stuck with a metric crescent wrench..200mm???? now i gotta buy metric bolts..gees! (makes a purdy good hammer!

You are pardoned, RC! but No use because Read the joke between the lines. On my opinion to become a really traditional muzzleloader you have to look at the US and stay in contact with guys like you and all the others in this forum.Because in GE we only have high level sportsman MLshooters and no hunters, or only less.Traditional shooting is nearly not done at all.

........ :hmm: you made a joke? hmm. german humor? :shocked2: ....................................................................... :blah: okay, on the serious side, met a young man at one of the rendezvous...he was from germany, moved here about gees, gotta be 6-7 years ago,,why? because he loved muzzleloading so much and couldn't do it in germany.(evidently the boy is dedicated!) think he lives in either new jersey or pennsylvania, name is "KI" (spellin?) great guy, got two jobs ,two years ago got his citizenship for the U.S. goes to alot of the big rendezvous, does a lot of trekking, canoeing all in traditional garb, anyways.. based on what he's told as, i can understand how ya feel,(he did have this one really funny story bout a guy..about 30...na couldn't be you :shocked2: )glad yer at least here, and hope you can get people a lil more educated on ml's over there.i'll give ya alot of credit,it can't be easy to pursue this mls stuff there.. ,stick with it man! pleasure havin ya here! an sharin stories..! :hatsoff: RC

I have started already with education. And no wonder many people in GE are very interested. Most of say that they only didn't know how to ask for ML shooting or hunting.I built up a ml-shooters group 2 years ago. Until now we are 15 very engaged shooters. 3 are hunters.

By the way I'm planing a hunting journey to your state. Belonging to the post of Tim Clark.

great job, about spreadin the ml education,an startin a group.. as for tim's huntin land.........you won't be too far from where i live, been talkin to tim, myself,,wanta go over there soon, seems he has an abundance of coyotes,,,like to smoothbore one! maybe,,depending when yer here we can meet up at tims! RC
