Just finished the sheath on this one. I am not big on beads, but some sheaths just beg for them. The knife is of 01 steel, with an 8" blade, walnut, rawhide wrapped grip, the sheath is rawhide wrap over vege-tan. I don't know how fast Knifeman's Tudy works, but this one took the better part of three days for me, but still is not as nice as hers. That lady makes a nice sheath!

Man I really like that knife and the sheath! Absolutley fantastic work on the knife and love the handle with the rawhide wrap! The sheath is great with the beadwork!

Hey Wick, Tudy says thanks for the compliment. She's pretty quick with the sewing, but she knows what ya mean. That rawhide has a mind of it's own and it takes someone with a lot of patience to work with it. We know a bunch of sheathmakers and they won't touch it.
By the way yours ain't to shabby, it's a real nice rig...Bud

Thanks Knifeman. Going by photos you have posted, Tudy is at least as good as Karen Shook. I don't do many of those. I had to study Karens work a few times to get the method sorted out, and I probably don't know all the tricks to it yet.
