Bare balls with jug choke?

I'm thinking about getting my 20 gauge fowler jug choked. I know you can shoot PRB with a jug choke, but what about bare balls?

Shot my 58 cal smoothie with jug choke last week. Seemed to preform fine with bare ball. I used a wool wad over powder ball and topped with a wool wad.

Try it !! Ive had barrels that threw the naked round ball to the same accuracy as a patched ball ! ... So I never patched a ball again with that barrel . FYI ...patched round ball is usually more accurate but ...ya just never know till ya try ... every barrel is different
