I was referring more to standing around different builders at the shows, not your shop.
I know, just havin a little fun. :haha:
Heck, couple years back I got the chance to chat with you - I was impressed.
Well that's good. Some days toward the middle of the week down there I can barely string together a sentence. :haha:
I believe Eric K said that "The difference between a good gun and a great gun, was a 1/16th" here and there and to have an eye educated enough to see it".
And there in lies the most difficult concept to get across on the internet. Folks that have never handled correctly built guns have no idea what they actually look and feel like.

Yup, the M1 rifle stock is way too short for me at six foot three and a 35" sleeve length but the Army said "live with it" and I did. Most factory built centerfires come with only a 13 1/2" pull and we all live with that. I think stock dimensions are more critical in shotgunning, not really so much when shooting with sights and length of pull is the least important of them for rifle or shotgun.

Please excuse a coarse, boorish question.......i just need to know the price. i followed this on TOW and forgot what it was in my senility. pretty sure a feller here wants it or maybe even me! again i apologize, but inquiring minds need to know!

All I can say is you need to learn to shoot a rifle like a rifle, not like a shotgun.

Not wanting to rub you the wrong way but, standing next to Mike Brooks for a few days and just listen -no talking, would be a good second choice.
I actually don't talk much in person, and I NEVER work when somebody else is in my shop. But, I do sing quite a bit while I work. I kinda dig Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody...."I see a little silhouetta of a man GARAMOSH GARAMOOSH WILL YOU DO THE FANDANGO"...and so begins another day..... :haha:

That's "Scaramouche".

Even the 70's need to be kept PC. :rotf:

"70's"? The Stewart Granger movie of that title was released in 1952. If we're being PC it is important to get these details correct. :haha:
