But it looks like that Before Uberti & Navy Arms begin making reproductions of our cap and ball revolvers and other muzzleloaders,
Another group of people in Belgian~
in 1959, an on thru 1975, named Centaur/Centennial, that in the 1850s produced under license from Colt,
1849 Pocket & 1851 Navy revolvers,
were then the first ones to replicate the 1860 Army - before Uberti & Navy Arms did.
Seen a few of them listed here and was trying to do some research into these,
I remember about 20 or 30 years ago seen a case set of 1860 revolvers as I recall they had butt stocks in a gun shop in page arizona and it seemed to click in my mind at these were Belgium made reproductions
