Well it was close to too dark when I discharged the piece at something that could reveal a pattern.

At 25 good strides 12 .375" printed slightly right but not 24" wide and just over 24" vertically evenly spread. :hatsoff:

Just goes to show how versatile a muzzle loader smooth bore or musket is. Also one does not need three balls sitting flat in the bore!

Just wondering what a bunch of .30-.33" would be like :hmm:

Absolutely right. That versatility is what makes them (sorta) beautiful and popular. I'm a bit uncertain about 'stacking' large balls in there but if it works safely, do yer own thang. :wink:
