Whats the best book or pdf that shows the locks thru the years of matchlock to flintlock. I have the early firearms 1300-1800 and is a great book, just looking for more. :)
 
you are wrong! There are many articles has the purpose devoted wheellock and matchlock
 
You might want to try used book stores. There have been many good books on this subject with lots of good photos of original guns published decades ago and I've found a bunch of them browsing in used book stores. They can also be found on amazon and ebay but you can't look through the book before buying first. So book stores are often a treasure trove of great finds.

But here are a few I've found locally that I recommend, they have tons of photos of beautiful guns from handgonnes to flintlocks:
