Best Lock inlet?

So are you guys saying to stay away from Chambers precarves as well as track and pectonica ?
I've also had a bit of trouble with the later two as well. Never built a Chambers.
 
Just tell the company NOT to inlet a lock......less work for the shop guys.....and you are the customer!

I know of one shop that we are discussing here....that he is very cantankerous, so the owner won't really give you flak if you say leave a step out on your rifle....and ALL companies will accept the rifle back if you open your package up, and reject it, and mail it right back.....
I have had to send locks back 3 times before they got fixed finally......just remember....you get more " flys with honey, than vinegar" ....... These are small mom n pop operations, made here in the good ol USA ...Not china.....we should give em some respect and kindness.....
 
It's just simpler to order the stock with out the lock inlet. I can inlet a lock quicker from scratch than fitting one to a rough routed cavity.BJH
