Whats yur favorite most info packed , most pages, Black powder magazine on the market ?...Thinking about getting a subscription to one and also Precision shooting mag.

Well, I would have said MuzzleLoader until I hit the Most Pages part.
MuzzleLoader is a 6 issues per year magazine. (They really should do something about that, like make it a Monthly magazine. I mean, I have about worn out the pages before the next issue gets to me.)

All in all I would still rate MuzzleLoader first.
My choices are just how I would rank them and are:
1. MuzzleLoader
2. MuzzleBlasts
3. The Single Shot Exchange (Only if you want to read about high priced Single Shot Cartridge guns though.)

I get three and would rank them Muzzleloader first, and then the other two are tied for second:

Muzzleloader Magazine
Seems most real, traditional, 'down home', history articles, low quality B&W photos & sketches, inexpensive, bi-monthly;

Muzzleblasts Magazine
An awful lot of the magazine is devoted to the NMLRA organization, Friendship shoots, advertising, and gunbuilding...so-so quality photos & sketches, twice as expensive as Muzzleloader Magazine, comes monthly;

Black Powder Hunting
A scattering of articles that might cover any aspect of muzzleloading, but seems to lean more towards inline type ML's and modern products rather than traditional...high quality glossy paper and color photos, more expensive than Muzzleloader Magazine, is bi-monthly.

I get two;

1. Muzzleloader

2. Muzzle Blast

I like "Muzzleloader" the best, by far! It's geared to traditional muzzleloading, and that's what I like... :thumbsup:

Muzzleloader is the best as far as I am concerned, great articles and pictures. I recently started getting "On The Trail", so far I like it also.

I get muzzleloader and on the trail. OTT is a great mag it covers everything. Clothing, Hunting, Trekking, and History. And it is a small time mag run out of the guys house. Another mag we have here in maine is Muzzleloading and traditional living magazine it is a quarterly. And a small down home thing. They are online or call Dave Corrigan (207)672-4879. I like supporting the little guy.

I used to get Muzzleloader but let my subscription lapse. I liked its focus on history and traditional muzzleloaders but there was heavy emphasis on flinters and custome rifles and rifle building. Not that there is anything wrong with that its just that I'll never have the money to buy a custom gun nor the know how to build my oun. I get Muzzle Blasts because I belong to the NMLRA and I like to keep up on the when and where of the next vous in my area. My favorite magazine right now is The Backwoodsman. Lots of stuff on muzzleloaders as well as surplus and antique guns. Also a lot of stuff on primate living and self suficiant living. Charlie Richie is the publisher and he is a great guy.

I rate 3 magazines that I subscribe to this order:

1:Muzzleloader
2:Muzzle Blasts
3:Backwoodsman

Muzzleloader is No. 1, despite only six a year. Muzzle Blasts is No. 2 and any number of magazines compete, in my house, for third. Graybeard
