Rob M. It is nice that you are willing to share Bill Newton's little booklet. Possibly you might consider a modest charge and have the $$ directed to Bill's daughter. I am sure she would welcome the knowledge that there are folks who value her dad's work and knowledge that went into putting it together. Like a lot of people, Bill worked hard to learn through experience and just plain trying, and there should be some compensation. After all, he was a congenial old soul and very glad to pass on things he had learned to those who asked---and I was one who asked.

Hi bud . No , I agree ...I think that would be a great idea . Berta was so very kind ....she not only gave me permission to share her fathers work and Knowledge but she scanned the whole book and patterns for me and sent them to me. She's pretty frikken awesome. Some one had mentioned doing something similar , collecting money for Berta and brain dead me ....I can't remember if she said no or it just didn't go any further ...I just dont remember , sorry . I think it would be great though . I sure wish I had gotten to meet Bill , shake his hand and say thank you . I did send him an email before he " went west " and thanked him . Would give anything to have sat around a camp fire with him talking trade guns and history .....

If you only shoot your 1600$ gun 3-4 times per year ya don't need it!

Ohio doesn't have any Hillbillies!
Anyone from Ohio claiming he's a hillbilly is really from West Virginia or Kentucky and is embarrassed to admit it.

I got it last night and printed off the pages my printer allowed me to print , but that's more than I had before. Will try again as time allows . Thanks.
Cool bud . Hope it is of help to ya , was me . Made me learn that a build is in steps , and to concentrate on each step , in sequence , until done , and then on to the next step . All the building book are good but ....they all seemed to be information overload .I'm sure its just stupid me but they just weren't much help until reading Bills book . Its cut and dried , " do this , ok that's done , now do this ...." . Helped me tremendously ....now the other books I can use them too . I think Bills book is just great for first timers so they can get to know the building process . Ive see folks buy a kit and start sanding the stock !! LOL ..... Thats the last step bud ! , put the paper away BUT .... thats a newbie , we all start somewhere .... Any who , glad you got the book . Need anything just holler . Take care bud
