I could use it to put between my favorite cast iron frying pan and the nice glass top on our stove. Wife won't let me use the cast because it might scratch the glass. But, as others have said, keep and use for projects and needs as they come along.
 
I used 1/16" thick copper sheet to line the jaws on 2 vises. Also my Mother asked me to make 2 copper bracelets that were 1/16" thick X 1" wide....she swore that they eliminated the pains of the arthritis in her wrists. She had read that copper is therapeutic and it worked for her. The bracelets had a design that she also found beautiful.....Fred
 
Hello Toot,

No, i made up the hinge with tube and rod as i did not want the hinge to intrude on the box, so i just alternate soldered the tubes to the box and lid and on the box soldered a small ledge for the tubes to sit.

It makes real nice vise jaws. Sell it to a metal shop. Copper sheet is valuable.
