Well I was moving back to Georgia but am now going to Ft Knox, KY. So I will ask again anyone know of a decent club near ft knox, ky.

I was in 1ATB when it was at Knox and made it to Friendship a couple of times. It was a great experience. I spent more time looking around vender's row than watching shooting. First time I went I met Homer Dangler and would always spend time talking to him when I made subsequent trips. He told me not long ago he no longer has his booth, but everyone I ever met there was great.

There were no clubs there then, and not very many blackpowder shooters (this was 87 to 90).

Check out Biff's Gun Room if it's still there, north on Dixie Hwy and also Squire Boone's Caverns across the river in Indiana. I don't know what Knox is like since they moved the Armor school, but it was pretty nice when I was there. I retired out of there in 2001, but I was TDY at Fort Hood all the time while assigned to Knox the third time. They had a pretty nice range to shoot at though.
