I am relocating to northern Virginia (Fairfax area) and would appreciate any help in locating some shops in the area. In Michigan we have some real traditional "Trading Posts" and this is what I'm looking for--just a really well stocked traditional muzzle loading shop staffed by very knowledgeable people.
If you know of some local clubs that are open to new members, it would be of help too.
Thanks in advance for the input.

Thanks for the help Musketman. As always your input is really helpful and greatly appreciated!

This has nothing to do with shops in Va., but I'm just curious about two shops that I used to deal with.
I used to live in MI and dealt with "Ye Olde Blackpowder Shoppe" in Auburn, MI.
I also used to deal through the mail with "Golden Age Arms" of Lodi, OH.
I have heard that both of these fine establishments are now out of business. Does anyone know if that is correct?
