once had a hangfire in my capper .50 that took a good 30 seconds to go off. :shocked2:
 
We are very careful. Only a very small qty of BP and since I don't reload smokeless, we can't make that mistake you illustrated. But thanks for the advice anyway! You never know what level of experience someone reading these threads actually has :hmm: .

Smokeless leading into a line of BP is a nice show...especially when you want to get rid of some weeds in the sidewalk cracks :nono: . I saw this done by somebody else--never did it myself!

The demo I showed my son was only a few grains of BP. Only containment was a rolled-up paper towel, so NO bang, just a flash and POOOFF. The kids did get the idea that BP is not to be disrespected. That was the entire reason for the demo :thumbsup:
