I quit suffering from these kinds of wounds when I started using Bactine spray-on. Numbs the cut , heals very quickly. I cut , chop, stab myself , get stuck in briars ,etc. , etc. , etc...................Bactine is good antiseptic.

I wear fingerless gloves for all reloading except when hunting. That's partial protection, right?

Looks like you need to take a medium diamond stone to the corners and edges of your front sight. Or start using it to shave with.

I was about to suggest the same thing. Sharp edges and burrs are no good on a gun that you want to really shoot and handle... that is going to hurt for about a week man.
