OH !!! Check this out !! This awesome feller from MN just sent me this and couple other original side plates !!! Frikken originals !! Blown away ...see how much it looks like the reproduction I use ... Rather amazing stuff here ....see if pics will load , fightin me Tonight ....

Ain't that somethin ?! A complete surprise to me too ! A neat thing ...ive always noticed marks on the back side of my repros ... Kinda looked like Roman numerals but I never thought much about it ...on the original there are Roman numerals too ! Not the same number , obviously , but it was to keep the side plate to the right gun during the building process , they didnt build one at a time . Neat stuff !!
