Pietta ‘51 Navy and Uberti’62 Police. Both excellent condition, properly timed smoothed up. ’51 date code is BH - yup, all those years, hardly used. Higher front site, shoots V good. The ‘62 date code is CN, bout 5-6 yrs old, hardly used; has a small scrape mark in in a chamber from pulling a ball, hardly noticeable, gun is properly indexed and smoothed up.

Box and all accessories shop made except flask and an original period oiler. Mandrel for forming paper cartridges included. No balls or caps ship. $550 plus shipping, money order only please.

Never seen an 1851 navy 5 shot. Do they exist?
The 62 is the 5 shot. It’s a scaled up model of the 1849 pocket, which was a 31 caliber. The frame and cylinder were rebated to accommodate 36 caliber ball. Since the cylinder was small, only 5 chambers would work. A 36 caliber round barrel was added to it with the 60 and 61 model creeping lever. It’s considered a pocket model. Can’t tell by the picture but it’s smaller than the 51 Navy. Or it’s supposed to be.
